At the heart of South East London’s burgeoning arts movement, 22-year old Alex Burey has been quietly shaping the music and sounds of his peers since his mid-teens. A producer, songwriter, engineer & mixer, Alex’s unique, warm strain of vintage modernism has allowed him to cultivate a glowing reputation at the forefront of a new generation of young British music producers.  With credits on Loyle Carner’s breakout tracks ‘Cantona’ (producer/mixer) and ‘Stars & Shards’ (co-write), Alex is currently working from his home studio – Pling – on the debut album for Atlantic Records’ Matt Maltese (NME: “the songwriting prodigy writing music for the apocalypse”), due for release in 2018.
